Aamir Liaqat Leaving PTI Is Real Achievement For Party, Says Rohail Hayat
Leading Pakistani musician Rohail Hayat has termed the decision of former PTI leader Amir Liaquat to leave the party as a success of the government.
The no-confidence motion against Imran Khan was rejected by the opposition in the National Assembly yesterday, after which Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly member Amir Liaquat announced his resignation from the party.
In a statement issued on Twitter, Aamir Liaquat Hussain said that after the drama ended, I would like to say that what the Prime Minister did proved that what the opposition was doing was actually right.
However, now musician Rohail Hayat has reacted to his decision.
In his tweet, Rohail Hayat said that Amir Liaquat Hussain quitting the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was the real achievement of the government, as if he was still being welcomed in the party.
He termed the overall political situation going in the country as ‘a comedy show’.

Rohail Hayat introduced Coke Studio in 2008, after 6 seasons he announced his separation from Coke Studio in 2013. Rohail Hayat returned in the 12th season of Coke Studio in 2019 and then he also produced the season 2020.
Earlier, Rohail Hayat was one of the founding members of Pakistan’s famous band Vital Signs.
