Ahsan Iqbal says Imran Khan is scared of Maryam Nawaz’s Rally
- Ahsan Iqbal calls Maryam a ‘Young Girl’ and says that PM Imran Khan is scared of Maryam’s Mandi Bahauddin rally.
- The opposition blames PM Imran Khan for the crackdown of police on the PML-N workers.
- Says the government needs to stop the rally by using soiled ways and the administration’s refusal is the proof.
Earlier this month, PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz had hinted at holding a rally against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government’s economic policies.
She has now announced to hold a rally in MandiBahauddin’s Quaid-e-Azam ground under any circumstances.
However, the District Police Officer (DPO) of MandiBahauddin didn’t grant the permission of holding a rally at the stadium due to security reasons.
Crackdown of Police on PML-N workers:
The district administration locked down the entry gates of the stadium and deployed heavy police. The Police also raided the places of local workers of the PML-N and detained dozens of them.
PML-N leaders have claimed that police are harassing them and blamed the government and Imran Khan for this.
Maryam Nawaz also hinted at the government while commenting on the crackdown of police on the PML-N workers.
Imran Khan is scared of Maryam’s rally – Ahsan Iqbal
While talking to media about Maryam’s rally, Former interior minister AhsanIqbalcalledMaryam a ‘Young Girl’ and said:
“Imran Khan says he is not afraid of death then why he is now scared of Maryam’s rally?”
He also said that whenever he (Imran Khan) wants to hold a rally, he does. But now when it’s our turn, he has got afraid of Maryam Nawaz’s MandiBahauddin rally.
Captain Safdar visited the area ahead of the rally:
Furthermore, Maryam’s husband Captain (retd) Safdar also visited the area ahead of the rally and said: “Niazi authorities’ time is up.”
Similarly, Maryam’s secretary also said: “The federal government needs to cease the rally by using soiled ways. The administration’s refusal proves that the federal government is afraid of Maryam.
