The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 Public Ballot has opened and giving the millions of fans the chance to apply for the tickets.
Fans are encouraged to apply by Public Ballot for a wide selection of matches as the 10-team round robin stage that provides plenty of opportunities for fans to see their favorite team.
To apply for tickets in the Public Ballot, applicants must register an account via the official site Cricket World Cup Ticketing
Highlighting the importance of this milestone in the application process, Managing Director of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Steve Elworthyhoped that it will have the same success as the recent Cricket Family Ballot.
There will be huge interest in next year’s World Cup as it is the third most-watched global sporting event.
The Cricket Family Ballot is a recent indicator of
how popular we expect this tournament to be when over one million tickets were applied for.
England will open the tournament at The Oval on 30th May when they take on South Africa while ruling champions Australia start their title defense on 1stJune against Afghanistan in a day/night match in Bristol.
The World Cup will conclude on Sunday 14th July at Lord’s. The remaining tickets will go on general sale from the Public Ballot on a first-come, first served basis.
