The dollar depreciated by 13 paise against the rupee while the stock exchange gained 180.76 points.

The effects of a record rise in remittances abroad are beginning to show, with the US dollar depreciating steadily on the third day of the business week. Recorded, yesterday the price was 160 rupees 68 paise.

 

On the other hand, the Karachi Stock Exchange traded positive today, and the Hundred Index recorded an increase of 180.76 points, after which the Hundred Index closed at 43,087.70 points.

At one point during today’s trading, the index had reached 43,216.16 points, but after fluctuations during trading, the index remained at 43,087.70 points.

Dollar depreciates, stock market rises

This improvement in the country’s economy has been seen in the wake of the SBP’s ban on remittances through banking channels, which has led to a record increase in remittance inflows into the country. Due to this, the rupee is also appreciating against the dollar.
