Government has increased the stipend by Rs 11,000 Punjab nurses

Increase in stipend of nurse in Punjab

The Punjab government has increased the stipend for all nurses in the province by Rs 11,000.

According to details, provincial health minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid said that the stipend given to all nurses across the province is being increased by Rs 11,000, after which all nurses across the province will be given Rs 31,000 instead of Rs 20,000.

The provincial health minister said that no government in history has done anything to improve the condition of nurses. For the first time in history, we have recruited 500 nurses. We have turned all 44 nursing schools in Punjab into nursing colleges. Yes, now nurses will be able to do Masters and PhD.

Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid further said that the Punjab government would set up five more nursing colleges in the next two years while Shahdara Nursing College has been allotted for the training of mail nurses.
