Police in KP performs much better than other provinces, and could not be judged on just a few unresolved cases. KP Police is independent and should not be compared with other provinces.

KP Police is the most accountable where postings, transfers, and promotions have been linked with performance. The culture of favoritism in the police has been eliminated and all postings are done purely on merit.

Seven specialized schools were established in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last several years for the capacity building of the policemen.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the first province to set up a counter-terrorism department. Police in the KP province has achieved a lot in recent years.

It’s generally said that excellence comes in millimeters, but the KP Police have many laurels of excellence.”
