Agreement for preparation electric buses with federal minister Fawad chaudhry and british private company
In Islamabad, Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry and the CEO of a British company signed a memorandum of understanding. The British company will first prepare buses for Pakistan and then help in the preparation here.
Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that development is possible only with technology and not by selling potatoes and peas. The first contract for electric bus was signed with China and the second with a European company. In the first phase, electric buses will be run in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore. He said that Pakistan would soon catch up with India in this competition, adding that in the next two to three years, the entire motorway network would shift to charging electric vehicles.
Criticizing the previous government, Fawad Chaudhry said that billions of rupees had been spent on Lahore Metro train, which would have to pay an annual subsidy of Rs 12 billion.
Fawad Chaudhry also said that we are building JF-17 Thunder and Khalid tanks but we could not build our own TV and mobile. Economic problems will not be solved unless we make electronic things.
Expressing happiness over the arrival of the CEO of a British private automobile company in Pakistan, the Federal Minister said that we want to play our role in the development of Pakistan.
In this regard, Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Twitter that his ministry has started two new industries in Pakistan, one of which is the medical machinery and the other is the electric vehicle industry.
Fawad Chaudhry said that these two industries did not exist in Pakistan but now that these two industries are starting to operate, they will have an investment of several billion dollars in the next four years.
Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that 3 billion would be invested in the medical machinery industry and 3 to 5 billion in the electric vehicle industry in the next four years.
