Pakistan’s Naseem Shah ‘Excited’ To Be Part Of British County Gloucestershire

National cricket team’s fast bowler Naseem Shah says he is excited to be part of the Gloucestershire CCC and is optimistic about representing the club.

According to details, Naseem Shah will be available for the club for the first half of the championship season and the group stage of the Vitality T20 Blast.

His return could be premature if he is called up for the West Indies ODI series, which is scheduled to be played in early June.

“I am very excited at first, when I landed here in Bristol it is a beautiful city and beautiful atmosphere, I am very excited to play for this club and to play for them,” he said in a video message. “I am looking forward to it” he added.

“This is my first chance to play county cricket. My senior players talk a lot about county cricket. I look forward to it and hope that I will bowl well here,” said Naseem Shah.

So far in his career, Naseem has played 11 Tests and is to make his debut for Pakistan in two other formats.
