I Have No Intentions Of Entering Into Politics, Says Shahid Afridi
Former national cricket team captain Shahid Afridi says he has no intention of entering into politics.
News has been circulating on social media about Shahid Afridi for several days that he is stepping into the arena of politics and will also run in the next elections on behalf of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Talking to media in this regard, he said that “he has no intention to enter politics”.
He said that he would just like to say that whoever comes in the government should be allowed to complete five years and then on the basis of this five year performance the government should go to the people next time to ask for votes.
He added that “the law should be the same for everyone, rich and poor, young and old.”
“It’s not right to make laws of your own accord and break them at will,” he said.
Shahid Afridi added that “Non-Muslims used to convert to Islam because they liked the Justice System of Islamic Societies.”
