- Peshawar BRT remained victorious in achieving the Sustainable Transport Award 2022.
- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) honored the trans-Peshawar with the title of “Honourable Mention” for the best transport services.
ADB Pakistan posted on Twitter, that Peshawar has remained victorious in maintaining the transport, mobility of residents, and reducing transportation greenhouse. This is a proud moment for the city to be listed as “Honourable Mention” for the best transport services.

With this, the other winners of the BRT project were given to Estonia’s Tartu, while Colombi’a Bogota was the winner of the award year.
It was also mentioned that honorable mentions and winning city will be announced at the virtual ceremony in February 2021.
