Qatar assures Pakistan that LNG supply won’t be interrupted.

Qatar Petroleum talk to the Pakistan and other countries that whatever the despite current political and economical, diplomatic situation in region, fuel and energy supply will remain as usual.

Energy And Gas Supply Stay As usual

Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, Qatar Petroleum’s President and CEO, assure in his statement that international partners that energy and gas supply will continue as usual. Qatar Petroleum made necessary argument after the blockade of neighbours countries. Al-kaabi said in his statement that,

On the behalf of Qatar Petroleum and our operating venture, i would like to express our gratitude to all our valued customers, and particularly our LNG customers, and would like to assure them our determined effort to continue uninterrupted supplies as the world’s most reliable LNG supplier. 

Qatar is the largest LNG producer and exporter, contributing more than 30% of the world wide LNG supply and trading customer all the major LNG consuming companies in the world. Many country are depending on the Qatar’s LNG for power and generation for the energy requirement.

Qatar is also one of the biggest supplier of natural gas by the pipeline to neighbouring companies. Qatar is also the major exporter of Gas to Liquid production and Helium, and the one of biggest exporter in natural gas in liquid form (NGL). Qatar also the exporter of refined projects, petrochemicals, fertilizers and steel.

Pakistan State oil

Pakistan state oil’s spokesperson also issued the statement related to this and said that Qatar Petroleum assured the LNG supply without any interpretation. This government did agreements with Qatar for the supply of LNG.

At this Point Pakistan importing 500 million cubic feet per day LNG from Qatar. Prime Minister of Pakistan recently inaugurated the LNG power plant in Bhikki. This is Pakistan first power plant which will work on LNG and will create 1180 Mega watt electricity.
