Samsung Galaxy S10 – 10th Anniversary Celebration Gift!
It seems that Samsung is planning to enter the world of NPU integrated SoC with full force.
Samsung’s upcoming flagship is most likely to be powered by a new 7nm Exynos 9820 SoC with built-in Dual NPU.
Only Apple and Huawei have managed to present their AI solutions with a Neural Engine Unit. It seems that Samsung is all set to follow the footsteps of its rivals by producing its own 7nm Exynos with Dual NPU that’d see the light on future Galaxies. It will be launched at MWC in February next year and the device will be commercially available in March 2019.
Samsung Galaxy S10 is likely to be a metal and glass design. It is likely to stick to two sizes. The design is slim, high quality and distinctive.
The Samsung S10 Lite will feature a flat 5.8-inch Infinity-o-display instead of the curved ones. It will have a hole in the upper left corner of the display. The phone comes with a metal frame with a fingerprint sensor on the side and a dual camera on the back.
The Galaxy S10 will have a notch, and it will be in the corner. Galaxy S10 will have a punch-hole cutout in the display based on Samsung’s new Infinity-o-display. Moreover, Blass says the size of the cutout is such that it cannot be hidden in the notification bar and it is notable that the Infinity-o-display has to position the cutout in the top left corner of the display.
The photography industry will benefit much from the new Dual NPU trend. This will enhance the working of image signal processors and we will see much better camera results in the future. Galaxy S10 may come with a triple-lens camera.
Samsung has a habit of offering the latest Exynos hardware and the latest Qualcomm hardware. The next generation is likely to move to 7nm for improved efficiencies.
5G will be an option:
The 5G option will be available in Samsung Galaxy S10. Whether 5G is used or not, remains to be seen, we suspect Samsung will not equip phones with a 5G modem before the market is ready for it.
Snapdragon 845 or Snapdragon 8150 processor
128 GB storage in different versions. It does not support microSD card.
Accelerometer, Compass, Fingerprint, Gyro, Heart-Rate, Proximity, SpO2
Android V8.1 Oreo
Galaxy S10 – Review:
There are other little details we don’t yet know. Whether Samsung is going to continue to offer a 3.5mm headphone socket or not. There’s a rumor that the company is going to have an under-display ear speaker. Also, there are no details about the battery. There seems to be a lot happening under the display if it gets the fingerprint scanner and an in-display camera too. Samsung’s Face ID rivaling technology has been scrapped because it can’t be fitted inside a punch-hole display. Maybe Samsung will remove the headphone jack too.
