It seems that Samsung is planning to enter the world of NPU integrated SoC with full force.

Samsung’s upcoming flagship is most likely to be powered by a new 7nm Exynos 9820 SoC with built-in Dual NPU.

Only Apple and Huawei have managed to present their AI solutions with a Neural Engine Unit. It seems that Samsung is all set to follow the footsteps of its rivals by producing its own 7nm Exynos with Dual NPU that’d see the light on future Galaxies. It will be launched at MWC in February next year and the device will be commercially available in March 2019.

Design:

Samsung Galaxy S10 is likely to be a metal and glass design. It is likely to stick to two sizes. The design is slim, high quality and distinctive.

Notch:

The Galaxy S10 will have a notch, and it will be in the corner. Galaxy S10 will have a punch-hole cutout in the display based on Samsung’s new Infinity-o-display. Moreover, Blass says the size of the cutout is such that it cannot be hidden in the notification bar and it is notable that the Infinity-o-display has to position the cutout in the top left corner of the display.

Camera:

The photography industry will benefit much from the new Dual NPU trend. This will enhance the working of image signal processors and we will see much better camera results in the future. Galaxy S10 may come with a triple-lens camera.

Galaxy S10 – Review:

There are other little details we don’t yet know. Whether Samsung is going to continue to offer a 3.5mm headphone socket or not. There’s a rumor that the company is going to have an under-display ear speaker. Also, there are no details about the battery. There seems to be a lot happening under the display if it gets the fingerprint scanner and an in-display camera too. Samsung’s Face ID rivaling technology has been scrapped because it can’t be fitted inside a punch-hole display. Maybe Samsung will remove the headphone jack too.
