Shehbaz Sharif confirms meeting the Army Chief before APC
  • Leader of the opposition Shehbaz Sharif has confirmed that he met Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
  • He has also confirmed that the meeting took place before All Parties Conference.
  • PMLN Leader has confirmed it after the news was leaked.

‘Yes, I met the COAS Gen Bajwa ahead of All Parties Conference’ Shahbaz Sharif.

The 11 parties APC was held on Sep 20th, 2020. The leaders of PPP and PMLN, Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari also spoke to the meeting.

Nawaz Sharif’s speech was targetted at the armed forces of Pakistan as he said:

Our fight is not with Imran Khan but it's with those who brough him

The all-parties conference has also decided to hold a long march against the PTI Government in January 2021. It will be the last resort after the opposition starts its movement in October 2020.

Bilawal Zardari has stated they’ve already started to work on their protesting plan. Molana Fazal Ur Rehman, PMLN, and other parties have also shown their keen support for this activity.

Shehbaz Sharif’s statement has raised a serious question on the narrative of APC. The speech of Nawaz Sharif was aimed at Pakistan Army. But Shehbaz Sharif has confirmed that he had a meeting with the Army Chief before APC

What does it mean:

The meeting of Shehbaz Sharif with the COAS will bring new analysis and narrative about this whole APC episode. It’s either Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif were not on the same page or Nawaz Sharif spoke against the Armed Forces because the meeting of Shahbaz Sharif was not ‘successful’.

One of these two aspects is true and we leave it to you. Drop a comment below and let us know what do YOU think about this meetingof Shehbaz Sharif.
