Yousuf Raza Gilani is not a unanimous candidate of PDM, Maulana Fazlur Rehman

President of Pakistan Democratic Movement and head of JUI-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that Yousuf Raza Gilani is not a unanimous candidate of PDM, our party on bringing Yousuf Raza Gilani joint candidate.

There is no difference of opinion, we are trying to have a unanimous candidate in the Senate elections, the PTI is trying to win the open ballot for its candidates.

Talking to media in Multan, he said on the suggestion of PPP’s joint candidate to Yousuf Raza Gilani that Yousuf Raza Gilani is not a unanimous candidate of PDM, our party has no objection on bringing Yousuf Raza Gilani as joint candidate. We have spoken to Asif Ali Zardari on telephone. We are trying to have a unanimous candidate in the Senate elections.

He said that the PTI’s bid for the open ballot was to win over its candidates, adding that there was a danger that their candidates would not vote for the PTI. He said that the bribe takers, takers and video makers of the 2018 Senate election video belong to the government, no one can talk about buying and selling from us. The NAB is a seal of the establishment, it is a seal made by General Musharraf, it is being used for political revenge and lawsuits.
